A public building, delivered as part of the European Green Capital, where the brief was the technology side of an exhibition route. The interactive tunnel is the centrepiece: light, sound and sensors responding to whoever walks in, without a button in sight.
The sound runs in zones along the route, passing continuously from one to the next as you move through. The automation controls the whole sequence, from the light to the sound to the start of each scene, and has an exhibition mode and a closing mode. There is no home cinema and no domestic alarm here: it is a public space and the rules are different.
